Family Camping

I assume they have a family camping area at Download? If so what's it like and how far is it from the Car park, Arena etc?

Yes they do we have camped in family for the past 4 or 5 mainly because i take my son and his mum thinks we will be safer, it's cleaner,slightly quieter and generally a good experience (apart from 2010) they over sold the family bit imo.

It's usually a slightly longer walk to family but not that much further, more security on the entrance and probably worth the little extra as you get a bit older.

Is it longer from the car park? Thats the most important thing for me when you have loads of gear and kid in tow. i don't want to walk miles with loads of gear. The family car park was right next to the campsite at Soni and was really quiet at night. When you say slightly quieter at Download, do you still get dickheads running round the campsite at 3 in the morning?
