Few questions about the festival organization

First, hello to everyone.Since I'm new here, I'm not well grounded with your forum, so please, excuse me if there's already a topic like this and I'm writting the same stuff again.I've been searching for information about the size of the lands on which the festivals are held.I couldn't find almost anything except some info about the Glastonbury fest-it was written that the

area of site is 1000 acres and the length of the fence is 8 miles.Yes, but Glastonbury is a big event.What about a festival which is organized for first year?And where should I be looking for a land that can be leased for one or two days for an example(nope, there weren't many sources about that either )?I would really appreciate any info you can give me about the organization at all and hope my questions weren't very silly or ridiculous.

Hiya - you need to suss out where in the country you are going to hold it first. Festivals are run on all sorts of land, from agricultural to parkland, to old airfields. you need to ask around the local area, enquire via the local authorities as to their licensing conditions eg if they were to refuse an event near a river. You need to consider access, what state the land is in at the time of year you wish to hold the festival, what are the neighbours like, how close public transport is etc etc - just common sense things.

Airds, thank you for the links you posted.The first one gave me a good view on the things, I read a small part of the second and there is some useful information, too.
