What do you guys reckon the chances of The cure playing are? Although they are playing Bilbao they weren't made out to be a spanish exclusive like radiohead were. Other bands touring that I would love to see are Bruce springsteen and the E street band and Tom petty and the heartbreakers.

Any of those 3 on top of the stone roses would make my week!

i think a realistic headliner we could be looking at is the red hot chili peppers, no dates between the 7th and 20 something of july on their european tour, not heard anything about them being ruled out and not playing any major spanish shows either. thoughts? also i think the cure may perhaps be over booked in terms of spanish and european dates, but i could well be wrong.

Not sure about all this speculation concerning blur, no pre summer show hype from NME, the same could well be said for the killers but who knows, tomorrow will hopefully bring a headliner.

not RHCP please :( mostly for personal reasons, I'll have seen them under a month before and they're meant to be sketchy live, mind you as long as I get any one of Blur, Pulp, Kings of Leon, Bloc Party as headliners I'll be at peace no matter who the other one is

hoping for some of Bon Iver, Interpol, M83, WU LYF and Yuck tomorrow, line up's pretty strong already for me though

i don't see kings of leon as a possibility, just down to the fact they cancelled all of those dates last year and no one has mentioned a come back. Bloc Party to my knowledge have only just started playing together again, no dates as of yet so another rank outsider in my view, unfortunately as they are a class live act.

Pulp would be a great addition and are very likely it seems. Refer to what i said last post about Blur, just nothing in this rumor for me.

would love to see some further editions with the likes of Bon Iver, Yuck, The Maccabees etc

would be disappointed with Snow Patrol - a fading band who in my opinion wouldn't fit the bill and are incredibly boring. Think we could be looking at RHCP or pulp but with beni, i dont think predictions can be made. Shocked us all with the David Guetta announcement and the New Order - especially as they're not headlining.

Lets wait and see for tomorrow, hoping and praying for some excitement.

I personally would be extremely happy if RHCP were announced. They can practically headline any major festival around the world and put up a great show. You can see some of their amazing performances on Youtube. They headlined one of the days at Rock in Rio last year and their performance was immense (full video available on youtube) and my all time favourite performance by them was Live at Slane Castle. that is completely available on youtube as well. I saw them in November and I would see them again at Beni if I am given the chance!

Sadly, now I've gotten my hopes up :(

Going to be some very angry fans this afternoon.

Think we must now agree that the line up is looking strong, some big big names playing that aren't even headlining. AND even if you're angry about what we've seen today, we still have 2 big headline names to come, some exciting times ahead and i think the festival is shaping up to have a very strong line up.

Pleased with Howler, cracking new band. And whatever you think of Dizzee hes the perfect festival mid bill artist, crowd pleasing songs and will work perfect in the Beni.

With two headliners still yet to be named im buzzing at the lineup so far!
