Dropkick Murphy
I wasn't gonna go to Leeds this year, I've been every year since 2001 but the line-up and clientele over recent years seem to be getting worse, however, I digress. A culmination of recent things led me to decide to give it another go this year, ending of a 4 year relationship, no holiday abroad... but most of all, the cheap tickets. This isn't a thread about bragging how cheap people have got tickets for, as I know a lot of people would have paid full price. I hate touts and Festival Republic has stood by for the past 5/6 years and let them get away with it. This year, it hasn't sold out (Leeds) and the touts are making a loss, which is excellent. Anyway, weekend ticket plus early entry - £160. I have picked up the tickets today so it's legit. Anyone managed to screw the touts over more? If it doesn't sell out I reckno we could see some silly prices between now and the festival. Welshyyy
Sure i read somewhere the last few are on Sale now? i don't know where though, might have been this site! but i hope it doesn't sell out, just to show touts the middle finger like you say! i think if they don't go they'll be going for around 80-120, i noticed MCR tickets going for like £40 on Viagago, it cost more to see Linkin Park! Vacant0
I paid £115 for a pair of Saturday tickets (Reading). Without all the fees it works out as pretty much 2 for the price of 1. Edited August 2, 2011 by Vacant0
Bisque
I got one weekend camping ticket off eBay for £115 Edit- for Reading Festival. Edited August 3, 2011 by Couchy
mrtourette
A big middle finger to those who bought their ticket at face value. I doubt any touts are reading this.
Benj
I wonder how many are Touts are still stuck with? Even though iits official sold out (well Reading anyway), I suspect there is still a big old stack of tickets sloshing about the 'spares' world. Im still hoping its enough to make an actual difference to the feel of the attendence, sadly now, at Reading at least, I suspect it wont. I bought mine in the early bird last year, so paid whatever the full price was then, I don't mind though as Im old and therefore MEGA RICH

ar1
I seem to remember last year that touts were selling tickets for less than face value last year outside on the Thursday so this started last year.
rexclark
We paid full price. It would've been good to get a bargain but I can't say I'm too fussed.

FiestaDave
Full price - rather be guarenteed tickets than mess about with ebay.

mrtourette
Friday day tickets have never sold out, Saturday and Sunday day tickets have been sold out and then come back on sale at least twice.

The Mean Bean
I hope a load of sour touts turn up and pitch about 80 tents, just to make the best of a bad situation.

she bangs the drums
£145 off ebay - I do feel sorry for the genuine people who have bought tickets with the intention of going then circumstances have changed and they are now having to sell tickets at a £50 + loss, I wasn't going to go as I'm not impressed with the line up but for less than £150 I will make sure it is a great weekend. satchef1
£100 is my target price. When they start going on eBay for that, I'll pick one up. Cheapest one to go so far seems to be £120, so not far to go
