Is there a special guest between Rise Against and Deftones

On the Clashfinder it is just a guess based on the general consensus, that amount of time will have to go somewhere, assuming it won't be a late start it will either be a long MCR set or spread out among all the acts or the special guest option. We will have to wait and see.

dont see a reason for FR to keep a band like Avenged Sevenfold secret since the festivals still havnt sold out, and there is still friday (reading) and leeds day tickets available which is the day this would be on..

Yeah an unannounced special guest on the main stage would be odd, but there's definitely a slot there compared to last year.

i remember someone on this forum saying that they told a report or something that they will be making an appearance at R&L, perhaps they could be on Main on the friday or even a bbc introducing secret set?

I reckon the extra time will be split between the rest of the bands with the bulk going to The Offspring.

I think I said it in another thread I don't see any point in a special/secret guest on Main Stage unless it's a band that could draw a huge crowd just by casually hearing them in the arena like Foos, Biffy or Kaisers that wouldn't be suitable for a tent. I doubt it though.

Could be, but nearly all the other festivals have taken place by now so FR should be free to release the name. Unless it's a band playing at V, which I'd say was very unlikely.

I'm pretty sure they would announce something if there was a special guest. It'll just be extra time for some of the other acts playing.

Maybe Avenged Sevenfold weren't originally booked but then this would be a last push at selling tickets on FR's part.
