Strawberry fields festival

Has anyone been before? Just brought tickets wondered if its any good or not!

Not been before, but going there this year for the first time.

Theres a few of us going off here Really looking forward to it actually! Looks like quite a good little festival.

We were keen on going to this one but decided against it. Pretty poor line-up for the money (compared to say Kendal Calling which is twice as much but has 3 times as many stages, an extra day and more well established acts etc)

Can't see the point in having 3 stages, but 2 of them being dance, and the main stage headliner being a DJ

I'd be amazed if this sells out given how other festivals have struggled. Wouldn't be surprised if it goes tits up. Shame, the setting etc look like it could have been a good weekend.

That said, if you're going, hope you have a great time!

What did you think of it fullfathom? I thought it was really good, in fact one of the best lil fest's i've been too. Deffo going to buy tickets next year

Yeah I'd go again no doubt but I wouldn't wanna pay 70 quid for it. If I can go for a fiver again I will, either that or try and get a slot to play and then get in that way.

Just a bizarre little festival, I can't understand how they managed to get Kelis - what a bizarre booking. How crap was her DJ though?

I enjoyed it that much I think I would pay £65 for it I normally pay £75 to go camping for 3 nights in August anyway, so can't complain really. I just thought the atmosphere there was amazing, especially at that little stage by the cocktail bar in the evening. It had the atmosphere that the big festivals used to have before all the d*ckheads started going just for a drunken weekend. Plus I thought the management was really good too with the toilets being cleaned regularly, hay down as soon as it got muddy etc. Deffo agree with you about Kelis... didn't the decks break half way through the set? And her mic didn't work when she first came on either
