According to bbc breakfast, there shouldn't be rain at all in Reading or Leeds on Thursday....

Net Weather and Met Check say light showers on Friday and Saturday. I can cope with light showers.......

Although there seems to be pretty ominous predictions on the BBC, it seems to me at Reading that they believe there is going to be two or three very, very heavy bursts of rain and/or Hail over the weekend with lots of glorious, warming sunshine inbetween.

Just my opinion, though.

Reading weather doesn't look too bad come Saturday (when I'll be turning up!) but it looks windy and I seem to remember years when that affected the pa badly? Pray it's not like that video though!
