what happens after hours?

Hi,

This year will be my first time at V and I have a few questions I was hoping some of you could help with.

Firstly- what is there to do on the Friday?

Secondly-what is there to do after the bands finish?Are the bars open late or does everything close after the bands?Is there anything going on in the campsites at night?

I can seem to find any info about this on the v website at all so I was hoping to get some answers on here.

Friday is just like a giant pissup really, everyone pitches their tents then theres not much to do till evening so everyone just drinks.

Theres then plenty of loud music/bars open, the fair and everything on through the evening hours with DJ sets and then later in the night films on etc.

The campsites have a very good atmosphere in general, its really only the Sunday night when things quieten off quickly after the bands stop.

fridays great, have a bit of a drink and get setup. lots going on around the place and if its your first time you can use it to find you way around.

friday set yoru tents up, get everything sorted out.

then get the drinks out, get a bit drunk, go make some new friends, every body just hangs out and has a good time.

alos the areana is open and there is a fair grown and stalls and food and drink.

so there is plently to keep you busy.

camp site has a great atmosphere.

after the bands,,, i dont know i have never stayed in the areana after a band has finnished... ive always gone back to the camp site, and just chilled out!
