Can anyone recommend any hiking-type boots that would be good for festivals (e.g. in potential mud/rain) and also for your basic walking/hiking (nothing too hardcore, mostly following trails but potentially with some wading of streams etc).

Squash match at 8.40 tomorrow morning (WFT!?!?), closely followed by an unscheduled trip to work to fix a problem that needs sorting before EOTR (Boooooo!), then up town to the Brixton Windmill for some retro action. It's a total 1991 fest, with many bands playing songs from some of the finest albums of that year. Free BBQ as well! YAY!

I can't decide whether to have my cornish pasty now, or save it for later so that I have more energy to cyle home in the morning.

Edit: I have just found some doughnuts. I am going to have the pasty now and hope that there are still some donughnuts left later. Risky I know, but they do say if you aren't living life on the edge then you are taking up too much room.

From a guy on drownedinsound forum who is DJing at the festival:

'The outdoor dancefloor has had Vinyl decks there every year I think. Definitely last year anyway!

The Woods stage is a totally different area that hasn't been part of the festival before.'

So I'm guessing the only place it can be is down that road turning right past the little crescent where the Somerset Cider Bus used to be?
