metallimuse
We all know Muse are playing OOS in order but does anyone know the running order from Leeds yet? Did they start straight off with OOS or put it mid set?

Englishdragon
They started straight off and played it in full and then went on to the festival hits. I really enjoyed it but it didnt go down well, by the time they got to Darkshines there was a non stop flood of people leaving at the back (I was stood next to the screen at the back) it had gone from being busy as hell to less than normal. Personally I think they should have done the OOS anniversary as a stadium show for muse fans, it didnt seem like a great idea for a festival crowd. kaosmark2
Doesn't help that the average leeds/ reading goer is 18 (or there abouts), meaning they wont have grown up with the album being on the radio etc. I hope they do some solo shows for it as well, I thought muse were finally understanding what people want by playing origins in full, then bam! nothing off Showbiz at all. I don't mind black holes, since whilst i don't think it's muse's finest hour, the songs seem to hold up well, the resistance was (and still is) overblown trash, best thing about that album is the damn artwork! LondonTom
Its decent enough for Muse fans, would go down a storm as a special run of gigs. But for a festival it always going be hit and miss. Resistance really isn't as bad people make out, apart from guiding light >_>. Defo needs at least one show biz song in there to
efcfanwirral
Just watching reading on iplayer - so gutted I couldn't go. Crowd looked and sounded amazing for bliss, one of my faves. I am almost certain that won't be done again but I'd be ecstatic to be fair if they announced another show as if it was any other weekend (I.e not one with two weddings!) then I'd have done whatever to get there The BBC only showed the singles off origin, so either muse said they couldnt show more so either most likely a DVD release or (fingers crossed) another couple of gigs for it. Or unfortunately it may be BBC thought they'd lose viewers by showing it!
Reading Local
I sent a tweet to the official bbcreadingfestival account and asked why only New Born, Bliss & Plug In Baby were only shown from the OoS part of the set and got the following response - BBCreadingfest BBC Reading Festival @ afraid band wanted to hold back some gems for the fans at the festival. Thankfully was there & witnessed the whole amazing show but still would have loved to have had the whole set or majority on my dvd compared to what I have from last night
