RHCP blates gonna be a Soni. And I cant see Evanescence subbing Main Stage. Her voice doesnt carry well outdoors and she defo couldnt do a 45min/1hr set in an outdoor setting IMHO! People were talking a lot about Nickelback last year in the run up to announcement and I'd be very surprised if Andy had not approached them then regarding this year. You can love them or hate them, but live, they are brilliant!

Same with Paramore, people were convinced they were booked last year and the whole debate went on and on and on about whether they should headline or not. Fact is that they would attact people. Personally, Id see them more as 2nd stage headliners, but I wouldnt be surprised to see them as Main Stage headliners.

Rammstein I can see because of the way that DL lost them to Soni in 2010, Andy would love to get them to Donnie I'm sure, plus they put on a damn good show and their tour is sold out so people who didnt get tickets will have another chance (thats a selfish reason for me, right there!!)

It would be a waste of their time (& anyone who is interested in decent live bands) to do Knebworth 2 weeks before going back for Soni.

I presume they will be making more money by doing their own gigs so I am guessing any Scottish/Irish dates, where they might not pull as many punters as in England, will be at TitP & Oxegen.

Really couldn't care less about them & I'm glad I missed them headlining Reading '07, looks appalling from the videos.

I think everyone expects a week today due to that Kerrang tweet, no-one from download has mentioned an announcement whatsoever, Andy only said today that they haven't decided what next years prices are going to be yet, so if thats the case tickets won't be going on sale soon, and if tickets aren't going on sale soon, why would they be making an announcement anytime soon?

I think we're all gunna have to wait a bit longer.

Download would never book Jay Z as headliner, its too much of a risk alienating the crowd when theres Soni as competition ready to snap up their customers, Andy would book such an artist in a lower position, but not headliner

and Kasabian, bullshit, he wouldn't book them fullstop. Andy is totally against Indie acts, he says no to Pixies because he says they wouldn't fit, no way he'd risk Kasabian

I saw that just, he also said shit day at work cus he didn't have enough time to get everything done. Gotta be very soon then in that case.Which is awesome.

Just saw a Chris Jericho interview and he said that Fozzy are gunna be back in Europe for the summer fests next year and want to play Download, which is great news, hope Andy books them, I asked him but he didn't reply :(

If they haven't got Rammstein or Nickelback then The Prodigy with Paramore as support works well and totally makes the opening day which is times has been the kinda cheaper day I guess good for non as heavy fans.
