MaxMaz
Yes. It is. Perhaps.
eFestivals
Is that 'perhaps' based on something you've heard? nope, it's based on the fact that there's very probably a number of acts still to be announced.
dancingted
Any one know if hop farm has a dance tent or dance area? Thanks

fairy_
I've got a b&b in Tunbridg so am hoping taxi is an option. I'm still thinking of cancelling and camping though so would be interested in others experience.

mahoneypepe
There's a spin-off event from Hop Farm.... 8 September - Leonard Cohen headlining 'A Day At Hop Farm' - same venue... Given the expense of setting up the infrastructure / stage, etc - does that imply there could be a few more events tagged either side of this date in September? LondonTom
Seems odd having it all the way then, maybe a week before or the week after so he just needs the usual main stage at hop farm. But in September? (It's vince promoting this once to).
Frankly Mr Shankly
The reason is probably because Vince tried to get him for Hop Farm, dates didn't fit in with Cohen's schedule so he offered him a one off gig that will probably sell better than the actual Hop Farm festival anyway. Kind of surprised though, I thought Cohen was heading Bestival's way.

5co77ie
had to check if this was an April fool: http://www.efestivals.co.uk/news/12/120413b.shtml not sure if it makes it as cool, or if it just looks a bit too leftfield.
fairy_
Also... Good Morning Hop Farmers, we are very proud to announce that the entertainment legend that is Sir Bruce Forsyth will be coming to play at Hop Farm. It will be his 1st ever festival appearance, in fact he's never been to a festival before! Nice to see ya!
fairy_
I like this line: Not only as he never appeared at a festival he's never been to a festival.

fairy_
Considering one day, although only likely if I can get two out of Dylan, Primal Scream and Maximo Park on the same day.
LondonTom
If they had Primal Scream on the sunday instead...I'd buy a ticket now! But might wait on that special guest, hopefully someone decent!

BeeMee
Excited!! Well worth the price of the first Early Bird sale for a whole weekend and very different. Shame about the Ray Davies/Stranglers clash but you can't have everything. Only went for the Eagles day last year and not the years before so a lot of the lineup consists of people I haven't seen before which probably helps. Kool & The Gang were amazing at Glasto last year, so many people of different ages strutting their funky stuff I'm sure even the chair-sitting masses will stand up for that one!
