Lambo_KoRn
apparently there is a supermarket by where you get the ferry and you can get a tent there... (at least i hope this is right as we plan to fly from birmingham without a tent and buy one over there!)

PastCaring
Just had a look at the www.szigetfest.co.uk site to check out the prices and stuff of the tickets - but does anyone have any idea what 'FESTIVAL WATCH Official payment device Sziget 2012' might be? This isn't something we're gonna need to pay for our drinks, is it?

deegs
Has anyone been up in the sky bar at Sziget? Looks ace, anyone know how it works, prices etc?
Uncle Liam
It was the equivalent of about £20 last year I think. And the queue was really long.

Felikz
Hey, I've been to Sziget a few years back, with Exit Festival just gone and both are amazing in their own ways! ... ........ The last night in Belgrade was spent in an apartment block where a room had been converted to a bar 3 stories up, you name your favourite spirits and there would be a cocktail created for you. Porn plastered all over the toilet walls and a building full of friendly locals all there to have a drink and enjoy!
Uncle Liam
Flights booked. If anyone from England is still to book, check out Wizz airlines from London Luton. Seem to be the cheapest at the moment.

slumberjack
I notice that the city pass is now available. Slightly disappointed that it's more expensive than last year and only allows 1 free entry to a spa (with 20% off after that) whereas it was unlimited use last year. Lambo_KoRn
wizz, or ryan air from stanstead, our flights are from tuesday - tuesday £133 if u pay full tax, but if you catch it the right day and get away with paying no tax then its only £91!! which is the cheepest ive seen
Uncle Liam
I wont fly ryanscum on a matter of principle. Saying that, Wiz airlines probably arent much better.
zeppelin
Hey Mullin, Would you please tell me the name/address of this place (apartment block) in Belgrade? I will go to Belgrade in august for their beer fest, and would be interesting to go to that place Thanks mate!
Felikz
I was literally in that bar 2 weeks ago, so surreal!!! Although lots of bars in Eastern Europe seem very surreal haha, one of the most being Hambara in Sofia. But anyway, back to the apartment block bar in Beograd, we were taken there by someone from Green Studio Hostel which is very near the train station and a 5 or 10 minute walk from this bar. You could always ask in there (or probably most hostels) if you can't find the address before you leave.
j...rox
So did anyone see the post on szigetnews.co.uk about the acts plays in USA at Outside Lands over the Sziget weekend. Metallica, Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Foo Fighters, Jack White, Stevie Wonder, Beck, Sigur Rós, Justice, Regina Spektor, Norah Jones, Skrillex, The Kills, Dispatch, Passion Pit, Grandaddy, Big Boi, Bloc Party, Franz Ferdinand, Andrew Bird, Explosions in the Sky, MSTRKRFT, Portugal. the Man, Dr. Dog, The Walkmen, Alabama Shakes, Fitz and the Tantrums, Amadou & Mariam, Reggie Watts, Sharon Van Etten, YACHT, Zola Jesus, Tennis, Die Antwoord, Thee Oh Sees, Tanlines, Caveman, Of Monsters and Men, Father John Misty, Tame Impala, Big Gigantic, White Denim, Yellow Ostrich, wallpaper., Trampled By Turtles, City and Colour, and Two Gallants Looks like everyones favourite rumour is on its way out now. Shame about Franz, Bloc Party, The Kills, Justice and Sigur Ros as well. So I'll say maybe The Cure, Noel Gallagher's HFB, The Killers and Florence ATM will be added for big names, Deadmau5 as the dance act. PastCaring
So, are we saying that the above are unlikely to be playing - no Franz plonky plonk Ferdinand - phew! On the other hand, I wouldn't be too chuffed to see frigging Florence as a headliner either - unfortunately, it's beginning to feel inevitable - because she seems to be headlining just about every festival in Europe this summer
