Iqaros
Someone wrote that you could not bring their own alcohol into the campsite, this is true? And if it is. How much does a beer cost at the campsite? Think it sounds pretty unreasonable. And what do u do if ur 17? Uncle Liam
That was true last year although truth to be told security was pretty lax at times

Iqaros
Ah, ok. Should be no problem to buy beer for the minors then?
AndyBradshaw1
Any ways to actual get alcohol in? I was thinkin perhaps clear spirits could be put in a water bottle
marcwilson87
Surely if you fill your backpack up with cans and walk through they won't check you?
guitarbaz
the majority of those with any form of bag or backpack will get searched. sometimes they'll even pat you down if you're not carrying anything at all (i like to travel light). ffs the beer is so cheap on site why would you bother lugging it all there yourself? Cristall
And don't forget: the beer on site is cold. Well, it depends on where and when you buy it, but most of the times it is. If you want a cold can of beer, you better not buy it close to Main Stage shortly after one of the gigs has finished.
504329lt
Beer from the fridge in my campervan is cold + a whole lot cheaper than £1.50 a glass if bought in Czech Republic on the way. Fairly easy to get booze in if hidden in van.. And don't forget: the beer on site is cold. Well, it depends on where and when you buy it, but most of the times it is. Lambo_KoRn
im just gonna take plenty of cash, its my holiday as well as a festival, im just gonna take plenty of cash and enjoy myself, i only take alcohol to british festivals cuz the music ends up finishing at midnight or whatever and so u need a supply at your tent, music at sziget goes on for alot longer so i will barely be at my tent to drink anything that i bring

AndyBradshaw1
What kinda alcoholic drinks apart from beer do they sell in sziget
morland
Pretty much anything you like apart from cider. Spent most my week last year drinking buckets of JD+Coke and cocktail. I recomend a bar on the right hand side of main stage were you can drink cocktails and dance on the tables. Just found out Meduza is gone, we were the fools that decided to camp right next after seting up in the rain and not knowing what it was. Sleep failed that week.... Iqaros
Booring. "a few more weeks to wait for the new names, unfortunately," From the Sziget facebook-page, two days ago.
Lambo_KoRn
think they must be in negotiations with bands then, hopfully trying to get someone big for the saturday headliner to silence all the haters, probs trying to get someone big to play for a smaller fee due to their new budget restrictions, also GIVE US METAL DAY BANDS PLZZZZZZZ

Cristall
I just took a look at some websites of (metal) festivals shortly before and during Sziget and made a list of the bands that could possibly perform on Day Zero. If Sziget uses the same slots for Metal Day as for Ska and Reggae Day two years ago, I expect a Hungarian metal band to open and probably four other acts to perform, of which Lacuna Coil probably is one. The others could be: Scorpions (4/8 Wacken, Germany) In Flames (3/8 Wacken, Germany) Opeth (3/8 Wacken, Germany) Cradle Of Filth (2-4/8 Wacken, Germany) Meshuggah (4/8 Hevy, UK – 10/8 Jurassic Rock, Finland) Hammerfall (2-4/8 Wacken, Germany) Dimmu Borgir (3/8 Wacken, Germany – 9/8 Brutal Assault, Czech Republic) Refused (9/8 Way Out West, Sweden) Kamelot (3/8 Wacken, Germany) Volbeat (2/8 Wacken, Germany) Hatebreed (11/8 Bloodstock, UK) Epica (8/8 Metal Camp, Slovenia) Behemoth (9/8 or later, Bloodstock, UK) Unearth (6/8 Lecce, Italy – 8/8 Munich, Germany) Heaven Shall Burn (3/8 Szene, Austria – 9/8 Brutal Assault, Czech Republic) Moonspell (2/8 Wacken, Germany – 11/8 Brutal Assault, Czech Republic) In Extremo (3/8 Wacken Germany – 10/8 Klaffenbach, Germany) Napalm Death (6/8 Metal Camp, Slovenia – 10/8 Brutal Assault, Czech Republic) Sick Of It All (4/8 Wacken, Germany – 9/8 Brutal Assault, Czech Republic) Agnostic Front (6/8 Birmingham, UK) Baroness (6/8 Hamburg, Germany – 9/8 Oya, Norway) Textures (4/8 Vagos, Portugal – 11/8 Brutal Assault, Czech Republic) Arch Enemy (4/8 Vagos, Portugal) Of course there are many more acts possible, but these are just the bands I know. Quite unlikely for Sziget, because they already perform in Hungary the week before Sziget: Machine Head (2/8 Fezen, Hungary – 6/8 Metal Camp, Slovenia – 10/8 Brutal Assault, Czech Republic) Sepultura (4/8 Fezen, Hungary – 10/8 Brutal Assault, Czech Republic) Testament (2/8 Fezen, Hungary – 6/8 Metal Camp, Slovenia – 9/8 Vasteras, Sweden Kreator (3/8 Fezen, Hungary) Korpiklaani (4/8 Fezen, Hungary - 5-9/8 Metal Camp, Slovenia) Very unlikely, as they already planned another show for 7th of August: Alice Cooper (Langesund, Norway) Social Distortion (Stockholm, Sweden) Iced Earth (Dublin, Ireland) Finntroll (Metal Camp, Slovenia) Paradise Lost (Metal Camp, Slovenia) The Black Dahlia Murder (Munich, Germany)
