Was just flicking thru skiddle and found the following link selling parking passes for Kendal calling,£6 now or £10 on the gate. I'm assuming if you buy it now its a print off thing.

Can't remember having a parking pass last year or is it just me being stupid

Paying for parking? I hate to be a grumpus, it just winds me up when people add on all these little extra charges.

In all fairness its still a bargain what everyone has paid and i'm not complaining, but why not include this in the actual ticket price?

Yes I saw that on the KC Facebook page just now, sounds good :-)

I'm getting well up for this now - not so sure everyone on FB is though, seems you can camp next to your car in Tenerife for the same money ;-) wonder what bands are playing Tenerife?

Ive stopped reading facebook for that reason. Constant moaning. Its my first time here, so nothing to compare it to, so no complaints. People have to understand that as the festival grows it has to change to meet those needs. No matter how much you want it to be like the good old days of the first couple of years, it isnt.

It seems like Kendal are really keen to keep that small festival vibe going, which i salute. The bigger festivals such as leeds/reading are naff in comparison. Nothing much there other than the music and some over priced fairground rides. At least here you can wander around and get lost in the atmosphere and stumble upon some hidden performance or stage.
