ramragon
Ive stopped reading facebook for that reason. Constant moaning. Its my first time here, so nothing to compare it to, so no complaints. People have to understand that as the festival grows it has to change to meet those needs. No matter how much you want it to be like the good old days of the first couple of years, it isnt. Jacko450
Afternoon all, Firstly just to let you all know, I am going to spain for. a week tonight so you shall have a week without my constant weather rants. Just one more question before I leave.... Im driving with the missus, and I have an emperors ticket but she doesnt ( long story short, my mates didnt buy them so Im camping in general but using the pootopia and showers in emporers) anyway, because she doesnt have an emporers will I be able to park there? Does that mak any sense?
ramragon
U shud b able to park ur car in the emperors bit I wud have thought jacko, however I'm not sure if the general access camping is that close to the emperors car park or even has access to it. Wud it not be more sensible to laud it up over ur mates and misses from the comfort of the emperors whilst thinking of them slumming it in the shanti town ! She'll forgive u eventually and won't make the same mistake next year There will be no greater satisfaction than sitting on the pootopia throne whilst thinking of them balancing 30 sheets of toilet paper on a dodgy wonky seat, whilst holding their breaths and looking for the last dribble of sanitizer ! Before attempting to flush and leaving, looking apologetically to the next person in the queue (usually a fit lass) whilst trying to maintain the perception that you are not responsible for what will greet them in seconds to come ! Just a thought
sam12betsy
Is there only one Pootopia? Or are they Bog Overlords with a multitude of poop palaces?

sam12betsy
The big one in general camping last year must have had about 30 cubicles at least in it. I'm just wondering if it means they'll only be in Emperor's this year?

Mr_Grump
Updated weather forecast (from the Met Office): UK Outlook for Monday 23 Jul 2012 to Monday 6 Aug 2012: Climatologically this is the warmest part of the year, but this year a protracted spell of hot, sunny weather looks very unlikely. In fact inclement weather that has characterised June and early July will probably still be in evidence, although overall conditions are unlikely to be as bad. Forecasts for the southern half of the UK favour below average sunshine amounts, with mean daytime temperatures about four times more likely to be below average than above. Rainfall in the south is extremely uncertain, though very wet conditions are a little more likely than very dry. For the northern half of the UK there are no clear indications of above or below average sunshine, rainfall or temperature, although as we move into August conditions here may improve. In other words, they haven't got a clue!!
