Dj Mag top 100

Haven't seen a thread on here about it and I was wondering what everyone's thought's were on this 'Top 100'

Personally I believe it is being overrun with commercial rubbish, At a quick glance I noticed Sven Vath was positioned 97 and Boys Noize was positioned 100. With Boy F****** george ranking above them.

Absolutely pish Top 100 from an absolutely pish magazine. Voted by the same people who watch X factor. Say's it all really.

Its been overrun with commercial rubbish since 2003, the poll stopped being relevant a long time ago.

There are a number of DJ's on the list that I would never have included the biggest being Daft Punk (do they even do DJ sets?)

There are a number that I would put on it that never made it Danny Tenaglia being one (really surprised he never made it given he did there cover cd).

For the record I have seen Boy George DJ on a number of occasions and I've always rated him very high, not as high as Sven but whatever night I've seen him at he has read his crowd and mixed well.

Had an arguement regarding guetta being the new oakenfold the other day, at least oakie had made significant contributions to music for years before he went down best dj in the world route. IMO

It's pish, I mean no Laurent Garnier, Danny Tenaglia, James Holden, Jeff Mills, amoung many other greats in the Top100

And then people like Afro jack who have a one or a couple of hits made it in Top 10!!

Back in the day I really looked forward for this poll, but now it's a freaking disgrace.
