Frankly Mr Shankly
Pretty gutted there isn't going to be a decent sized sub for Radiohead, I guess the organisers knew they'd sell it on their own so felt no need to waste money. Still, for the price overall I'd say it's one of the best festival line ups this year.

ohduarte
Just announced that they've opened up another camp site approx 30mins from the festival for anyone who couldnt get tickets for Lisboa Camping
Vilmule
The airport is inside Lisbon and not far from the festival. The festival is in Alges but it is located only 2 miles from Lisbon. It is very easy to reach by bus or train (both stations in front of the festival), there's no tube stations around there though. A cab would be an expensive alternative but still cheap(specially if you split the costs with friends) and from central Lisbon you could get there in 15 min. I'm not able to give advice regarding hotel but there's a lot to choose. The environment is great. I've been to a lot of festivals/concerts around Europe and I don't hesitate to say that Spanish and Portuguese crowd are the greatest. In Optimus Alive 2010 Eddie Vedder said that it was "the best singin crowd he'd ever heard". Trust me, you will feel more enthusiasm than the average of a typcal british festival. Radiohead have not come to Portugal for 10 years so the excitement will be huge. There's no such thing like curfew, main stage concerts should end around 1am and I think that the festival site closes around 4.30am, there's party everywhere until then. If you choose to camp, I should warn that the campsite is not located in the festival site but there's free buses everytime (or almost) from and to there. The campsite is great, with pool and everything, and the trip will take only 10 minutos at most. I've been to all the editions mostly beacause it has always a great line up, this year will be no exception

Ollie7490
I think this has been asked before but i can't really be bothered to search through 40+ pages for an answer. Does anyone know for sure how much it costs to camp per day before the festival camping kicks in on the Friday? I arrive on the Wednesday and wouldn't mind knowing, and I can't make any sense of this price list on the campsite website... http://www.lisboacam...preco-pitch.htm Thanks in advance. Homer
FYI - I stuck a message on the Facebook re the tickets/getting on the shuttle bus situation, all looks good! ////// Hi, just a quick question, on your website it says: "During the three days of the Event there will be free shuttles between the festival site and Camping for camping purchasers." I am staying in a bungalow so I have bought a non-camping ticket. A) Have I bought the right ticket? Will I be able to get on the shuttle buses with that wristband? Thanks! Henry Like · Evy Almeida Hello, just stoped by your question if your staying at camping lisboa you will be able to use the shuttle is totally free. PS: if you're still looking for people to share a bungalow etc, do let me know.
