I haven't been, nor do I live in the area...

...but if you look on googlemaps satellite view to the right of the festival site (where the road crosses the train track) and look closely to the right of that roundabout on Av. de Brasilia you'll see what seems to be a subway that comes out north of the road above the train track. Assuming it has public acces/is still there, it looks like the most likely crossing.

Nice find with the supermarket btw... perfect alcohol pit stop before going through the gates! :P

http://www.carris.pt/en/buslines/

This link has all the bus routes and tram routes on, just click on any of them to view map and then it shows the night bus routes and the day routes.

Looks to be plenty of buses back to cais de sodre and back into various parts of lisbon think it was the number 201 & 202. Not sure about trains running back to cais de sodre but that would be good to if they are. Planning on travelling to the festival each day on the cais - cascais line which stops at alges.

Can't wait now i'll be over there in a weeks time, & went to Stone Roses at heaton park at the weekend and thought they were excellent.

Whats number 18 any ideas?

I didn't realise the 2nd stage was undercover!!

With Heineken sponsoring a stage i guess that will be the beer of choice at the festival?

We fly out Tuesday morning 1st thing from Luton, bit of a drive down there as well.

Anyone thats been before know what the ground is like? is it sand, grass...?

& any ideas on beer prices?

What extra layers are people taking for at night not sure how cold it is going to go, milder of course, I've only got a could of thin jackets don't really want to take a jumper.

Really looking forward to it now going to be starting the friday seeing Aeroplane in the Dance/Clubbing stage.
