First time - Optimus Alive!

Gonna be my first time heading to Optimus Alive! Bit concerned that the FAQ pages on the website don't seem to come up with anything. Last year's lineup looked intense, how can they have all that for only £100 per person? amazing..

Few questions, when does camping start/end and what's the whole festival like?

Its an awesome little festival. Camping is great, the camp site has a swimming pool and doesn't get crowded. I practically had my own garden. the Portuguese are really friendly and its about 3.50 Euros for a large beer. You get a bus from the camp site to the festival but they are really frequent. Last year didn't sell out so even though it had an awesome line up it was pretty quiet so lacking on the atmosphere. but overall well organised and great fun.

Ticket, and nearby hotel, booked - everything I've heard about this festival seems pretty good... any other experiences from people?

If anybody has been, could you tell me if it's possible to come out of the site and go back in or is it like Route Du Rock etc where once you're in the arena for the day you are stuck there?

Not usually much of a problem, but it can be a bit of a pain if weathers crap etc.

you have to catch a mini-bus/taxi from the campsite to the fest bit so I imagine you can come and go as you please...

Anyone stayed in Lisboa Camping's Bungalows? Is that good?
