Hope so, cosmic egg was a fucking awesome album. Was surprised they didnt play last yr after pulling out in 2010, they were here at the time this yr and just did uk dates instead.

Theyll probably take 3rd down main, hope they dont second stage headline

I really hope so, I've been unlucky enough to miss them each time they've played here, and was gutted they pulled out of Download. They'll fit perfectly main stage Sunday.

I don't really get Wolfmother, they're just sub Led-Zep 70's eque rock with a twunt for a frontman. Not offensive but not exciting or inventive either, just a bland hour of mediocrity. There's deffo a place for retro-rock (The Answer etc) but the spot they'd take up could go to far more interesting acts.

Really?! I've always thought of Wolfmother as a fairly inoffensive booking, didn't think they were the sort of band to produce such a negative response. I'd be delighted with them playing, maybe subbing second stage Friday.

there is no such thing as an inoffensive booking.

whoever gots booked will half the people on here jumping for joy and the other half outraged.

someone said to me once, 'i went to download and only saw 5 or 6 bands i liked all weekend'. jesus,theres well over 100 bands playing on four stages over three days.if you cant find more than half a dozen bands then you really are at the wrong festival.

Been announced for Hurricane and Southside festivals 2 weeks after Download, and 2 weeks before Sonisphere. So really its still wide open could play either.
