Why would anyone who like MH but doesnt like C&S wait after MH finishes? If C&S were on before MH I could understand bottlers being there. But I dont get why a person would stand and watch MH and then wait around until C&S came on just to throw a bottle at them? Perhaps I am being slow here, but why would anyone do that? Go out of you way to show how much you dont want a band to play? No sense! I would guess the MH fans would just watch MH then leave. If they hate C&S that much they wouldnt want to wait around for Prodigy anyway, right!?!

If a load of MH fans who hate C&S are waiting through them then they're more likely to be throwing stuff at them. Where as C&S will be on after, the MH fans who might bottle will have cleared off.

Copping's said that The Prodigy wanted C&S below them. The generalisations about MH fans are getting pretty boring tbh. I can totally see why ardent Machine Head fans could be slightly annoyed by a band who sell less gig tickets & are unproven in a rock/metal environment being placed higher than an established Download favourite, there's no way in hell there'll be more C&S fans at Donington than MH fans but Mr Copping makes odd decisions like this sometimes...plus, given The Prodigy were seemingly a late, replacement booking I imagine they had quite a bit of sway.

Not sure why the MH fans would bottle C and S. Limp Bizkit didn't get bottled after the tantrum MH with them.

I think I made the mistake of looking at the comments on Downloads FB page, as they all seem to be about bottling C&S and how MH should be higher.

Doesn't say anything about the album thing under Metallica, Anthrax would be above FFDP I would have though plus I hardly think they would put Limp Bizkit/Machine Head in that slot since Machine Head spat the dummies and went crying away last because of Bizkit being above them.
