Considering they have a very famous film which they wrote the soundtrack for, and another, arguably, more famous song (Fuck Her Gently), i don't think so.

I've seen them twice including when they played in 2008 and whilst they are a good live act, the thing is you know what to expect when you see them.

It would be difficult to place them if they didn't play under the Foo's. Not big enough to sub another band but too big to be classed as 'novelty' act & be in a position where say Madness played last year (not saying Madness are a novelty act, just they are not the usual band a lot of people would buy gig tickets to that went to see them at R&L).

I reckon more people would want to see Chase & Status at R&L than Tenacious D.
