Anyone know what Download will have this year in terms of stalls and services? None of us have been in 6 years.

Comfy crappers have been a godsend at the festivals I've been to the last few years. Are DL goign to be getting them again?

Phone charging: Last year's website said they had facilities for non Vodafone customers but you need to stay with your phone while it charges. Were there only the vodafone ones or were others available last year? Anyone know if it'll be the same this year?

Food stalls, has the quality improved like other festivals? There any particularly good ones to look out for?

Soni has a few shops where you can buy things like bog roll, large bottles of water, sausages + buns, etc. Do Download have them now?

Is there an ale tent?

What can you cook with? I guess fires aren't allowed, but camping stoves, etc?

Any other advice about the site would be much appreciated.

Comfy Crappers and/or Luxury Loos will be in the village/campsite. Not in the arena. I expect they will return as there is ALWAYS queues, so they must be making some pennies on them.

Phone charging - Like Lucky says, best thing is take a car charger and use the lockers! There are places you can charge your phones, but Im very sceptical over who I give my phone to!!

Food stalls: Ive always had ok food at DL. Similar sorts of things to other festivals. Never found any outstanding places, but what do you expect out of the back of a van!? Hog Roast is alwasy good though. Usually in the Campsite.

There is an onsite shop which sells everything from beans to duvets and chocolate bars to magazines! It's like an onsite co-op. Quite expensive though. They've definitely had this since 2009, so BS (Before Soni!) ;)

Is there an ale tent? Yes. I went to the Fan Forum last year and you have NO IDEA how big of an issue this was there. They definitely have Ale. Though in the Arena. Not in the Village, to my knowledge.

What can you cook with? No Fires. Disposable BBQ's or Hexi Stoves. No Gas allowed.
