bennyk
So as a European festival virgin, i plan on loosing it at Tomorrowland 2012. Looks literally insane and would be the perfect place to start! However, getting there might be an issue, Coming from the North area of the UK and somehow looking to get over there relatively cheaply... Has anyone ever been before? whats the best options of travel to get over? some saying fly or get ferry from hull to rotterdam then possible coach or train or something? Any help much appreciated
TheNewUnion
Fly to Antwerp and get public transport from there, the Bus stop is right outside the airport then you can get a train to Boom (or even a cab, it's really close to Antwerp) We flew to Antwerp from Manchester (for Pukkelpop) less than £100 the last two years, booked with Air France. bennyk
just found that National Express do a thing called 'euroline' and its specifically for the festival but they do a coach from London to Antwerp return i think. Looks pretty decent and cheap Edited January 21, 2012 by bennyk

Smally
No idea, the only infomation I have managed to find it the obvious. Ticket details relased 1ST Febuary, Presale starts 7TH April. The nearest airport is Antwerp and is about 13KM from Boom, where the festival is held. So I can't imagine it costing too much in a cab? Eurostar looks pointless. Looking into flights to Antwerp and the cheapest I'm getting is £200 from London? Scrap that idea. EDIT: Looking at flying into Brussles on Wednesday from Manchester (Flybe). Stopping in Brussles for a day then making our way to the site, train to Antwerp then a cab. Getting back to Brussles then catching a train to Amsterdam, stopping there until Friday then catching an Easyjet flight home. carriedekoffins
Me and my boyfriend were planning on taking the car over for this. We're travelling from Leeds area (UK) and I've been looking but I'm not sure how it goes with ferries and such. Does anyone have any ideas where would be best/cheapest/any general info to go from in UK and where the ferry ports are on the other side? Also, if anyone has been before - do you happen to know, when it comes to booking the accomodation with the jaccuzi etc, do you pay per person for this accomodation or do you book one and you both stay in the same appartment? Thanks! Becky
Smally
The jacuzzi says, "Only access to DreamVille - 1 ticket for 2 persons" Its 640 euros + 2 festival tickets = 984 euros. Looking at 207 euros basic cost for this. "The Worldwide ticket sale starts on Saturday April 7, 2012 at 11h00." Also you're allowed to bring your own booze/food so long as its not in glass, fantastic! Edited February 1, 2012 by Smally

Smally
I've been to one Belgium festival, it was Groezrock (20K punk rock festival) and didn't see any usage at all so I'm afraid I can't help on that front! Beyond excited for this, can't stop listening to sets from last year. Decided we are gonna get the eurostar over because we don't have to book it for a while. Hatrack
I'm coming from the North of England too, these do cheap tickets to Brussels http://www.flybe.com/ Then it's three short local train journeys (or even just a taxi) and a shuttlebus to the festival
muggenmulig
Okay, on the website it is possible to buy a booz package that cost 50€ for 35 vouchers that you can use for drinks and food! My question is, is that cheaper then buying the vouchers at the festival ?
