People moaning about Adam with Queen is just stupid. It;s Brian and Roger's band, if they want to do a couple of one off shows with somebody else playing THEIR music. Who are we to judge, it's their band afterall. Fair enough if you don't want to see it, but all this "ruining their legacy" shite that gets banded about is just stupid. Queen would be a brilliant booking, one of the best bands in the world, and sure without Freddy they've lost a big part, but the songs still stand, Adam is a very capable singer and performer, and the fact is Freddy is dead, there's not much they can do about that unless they perfect the art of voodoo resurrection . Going by the reaction to the medley they did at the EMA's last November, it'd be a hell of a show.

As for the leak, like most leaks, it's always best to assume it's false. That being said, there's a chance it could be true, most of the media do know who is playing now, Kerrang had a whole announcement pulled from their mag, Guardian leaked skrillex - so they must know stuff, Scuzz had that headliner show which shows they know stuff, Thrash Hits had twitter hints last week about 2 acts. And lets not forget the initial announcements for soni 2009 and 2010 were both leaked (by Thrash Hits). So I can't really rule it out completely, certainly interesting, nonetheless.

Kipper - I have no problem with Queen playing with whoever they want, I just don't think that Sonisphere is the platform for it and especially not as headliners, Slash playing GnR songs with Myles Kennedy doesn't even headline festivals, my point is that some x-factor pop idol bollocks does not deserve to be fronting headlining a rock festival, I don't like either Coldplay or My Chemical Romances's music but I can understand if why they have headlined festivals as they have worked their bollocks off over many years to get to that position, Adam Lambert hasn't.
