Yup, the one I saw had pretty much the entire line up (which wouldn't be booked yet) but included, Deftones, Korn, Paramore, B4MV.

Fri - Faith No More, Saturday RATM, Sunday - Kiss, I also remember QOTSA headlining the second stage on the Saturday, Bullet for My Valentine being under Rage, Motley Crue being under Kiss any others?

Oh yeah Slash and Korn plus around 10-15 other smaller bands, I thought it looked realistic and where I would expect the festival to be at right now.

I wouldnt be surprised if they did have a fair amount of the lineup booked WHEN they announce, it'll definitely persuade more people to but early tickets, and if the tickets. I dont see why people moan so much anyway the festivals still 6 months away

And I don't know, But what you were saying referenced that poster I had seen too but what scottie was saying didn't match up so i found it and checked, and I don't think the one he saw was the same one you saw. That's all i was saying

Cheers Charles, yes I meant the one you posted, good to see some honesty and not the usual I know someone bollocks that we so often here, well spotted I say and I do have a feeling this could be the real deal as the lay out of the days and the bands on the poster looked spot on to me, it reminded me straight away of the one that was posted on the R&L forum before the announcement, I guess time will tell if you uncovered something you shouldn't have.

Ps If that is the line up then I'm definitely buying a ticket.

That lot doesn't do a lot for me. Ok, kiss but on a fab show but when you've seen em once... Ratm I love but it could be 4th time in 4 years for a fair number of Peeps (Leeds, rage factor, download and now soni) and while fnm are ace I'm not too bothered bout seeing em again.

Then there's the undercard, wholly unimpressive to me. Nothing stands out to me.

Edit: forgot slash! But not enough still...

Compared to soundgarden and tenacious d that we KNOW about at download....

That poster is fake. The guy who made it even confirmed it was fake, the background isn't real either, it's a template made by someone on the forums. I've seen the background that's gonna be used for the real poster and so far none of the ones floating about twitter have matched it - and I keep a watch most of the time

As for Skrillex. Hate him. That being said, Download said they were after him and I'd imagined Sonisphere would have been too, so this is hardly surprising. He's massively popular in music and particularly amongst the 'rock' crowd too, so I wouldn't say he has no place at a festival like Sonisphere. It'll be a popular booking, just one definitely not for me...
