On August 21, 2011, it was announced on the Kiss website that the next album would be called Monster.^[135] Monster was originally slated for release in fall 2011, but was then delayed until January 2012, and later delayed again for a Spring 2012 release.

The band organized a "KISS Kruise" onboard a cruise ship from October 13–17, 2011. The show involved acoustic sets as well as other activities. Over 5 days the cruise began in Miami, Florida and ended in Half Moon Cay. The band also announced a 2012 KISS Kruise was in the works.

Before hitting the red carpet at the 2011 American Music Awards, Gene Simmons revealed that KISS' forthcoming album Monster will include 15 brand new songs, all studio written by the band. Together with the album a 4 foot high book and a 10 hour DVD will be out in June 2012. KISS will then embark on a world tour that "promises to take technology to the extreme". The recording process of Monster was officially completed on January 6, 2012. It is slated for release in June.

kissdeuce news can mean KISS will do a festival tour this summer which won't go to Italy and an European Arena tour next year that will go to Italy. Sonisphere runs dozens of festivals, they need headliners, there aren't many metal bands left to headline.

It will be a relief once an announcement has been finally made and I'm not having to check efestivals, twitter and anything else Sonisphere related to see if there is any news!
