mrtourette
I'd say so, but it isn't easy to judge. It's more about progression, I can't see TJF going from FR to NME to main stage and then back to FR, even if it is a high slot.
Vieuphoria
TJF aren't anywhere near The Horrors. But bands go up and down all the time, I don't see it as totally unfeasible for it to happen
Prufrock
Silversun Pickups would be amazing.
Vieuphoria
I realise I bring up Ye Olde Music too much but Public Image Ltd would be a great headliner for this tent.
luckysalt
Would be nice having Happy Mondays headline as long as they don't clash with Foos or Kasabian.
jump
I'm hoping Japanese Voyeurs play, I saw them at a few fests last year and they are fucking quality.
jump
I've started thinking The Others may headline, on a bit of a comeback and had a cult following and they'd be more suited for a smaller stage but I'm not sure if they are big enough anymore tho. Vieuphoria
I remember the Others.. quite a decent band. Are they headliners though? I'd still like to see a headlining set of Mark Lanegan, Public Image Limited and The Ting Tings or The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart.

TYLER_4
I was thinking that The Ting Tings or Band Of Skulls would be in a similar position to The Horrors last year. PIL are probably too big and POBPAH too small.
Vieuphoria
have I overestimated the size of the Pains of Being Pure at Heart?

dirtymookie
Yep and I can't see them being on the type of act to get/predicted to get big enough in time of the fest either. Space! I would love them to headline or just announce a London date, they are the top of my must see list as I only discovered them just after they split up. VCK
How about Gruff Rhys as headliner one of the nights?
Vieuphoria
Ladyhawke could be cool Afghan Whigs would also love The Dirty Three to play too I quite like the sound of Afghan Whigs Ladyhawke The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart Metronomy The Big Pink Scroobius Pip Mark Lanegan Kyuss Lives! The Dirty Three Placings are wrong and wouldn't happen but still Edited February 28, 2012 by Vieuphoria
Vacant0
Metronomy are too big for the FR tent. I'd like Idlewild and Throwing Muses myself.
Vieuphoria
Are Metronomy really any bigger than The Horrors?
mrtourette
Throwing Muses? Are they back together? I think Afghan Whigs are too big, I'd put them high up in the NME tent due to the reunion factor. I think having them and Mark Lanegan headline is too similar. Vieuphoria
Actually yeah you're right. Forgot that would mean we had both Gutter Twins at Reading. Which would be awesome.

Eager_Eyes
I'd like to see Wolf Gang play, I'm not sure how popular they are though but it seems like a good fit to me. Their last tour was quite small venues.
