I like most genre's of music and I belive that music is made through feelings and coldplay have done very well for there selfs admittedly most of there songs are depressing but they are good there is no getting away from that. I dont listen to them that much only on the radio its not something I would put on my i pod. If I had a choice to go see coldplay or some auto tuned guy from america I would go to coldplay.

I heard the Ting Tings new single yesterday .... dreadful, absolutely dreadful. It makes the cod reggae put out by Peter Andre seem good.

I think the Ting Tings played under Bloc Party on the Other Stage that year didn't they? As opposed to headlining.

Yes, lets just talk more about Beck, he would be my perfect headliner. Also what about The Beach Boys, their world tour goes on until August and no UK dates as of yet from what ive seen (correct me if incorrect), could it be that Bestival would be the last ever show from the reunion tour, also with Brian Wilson being there last year he may feel like returning. Definitely different, thoughts?

That's quite a good suggestion actually. Could happen!

I really want to see Beck, I keep on missing him and getting pissed off by that. Similar size and legacy to Bjork, and doesn't tour often. Would be a cracking Sunday headliner IMO.

Yeah, IIRC, she said no, then he twisted her arm and she said yes, hence the late booking.

Hoping Arcade Fire said yes/

I think it was suggested last year that Brian Wilson's last ever festival performance was at Bestival, which made it all the more special when I saw him. Wasn't great though, if I'm honest, and the support band did most of the work. I honestly couldn't see The Beach Boys at Bestival. Glastonbury, maybe, if it was on, but not Bestival, mainly for reasons of cost but also because of prestige.
