A bit strange as originally it was said that 2 headliners were going to be announced a week apart now not until march, with the friday and saturday healiners already being confirmed, could a headline act

backed out? Are they just waiting to announce it so itcoinsides with other announcements for whoever it is?

New Order coudl work: they often have one 'smaller' headliner to balance out the more expensive ones they pay for.

I am imagining Friendly Fires will be subs this year as they are climbing the ranks at smaller festivals. I would probably cream my pants if they subbed Bloc Party who I think could be a "current" headliner!

The XX, TDCC and Sigur Ros have already been confirmed as the subs for the friday saturday and sunday respectively.

Anyone else think The XX are a poor but perhaps popular booking? I don't understand why they are popular. Literally the polar opposite to TDCC.

Fair play, I think i just find The XX a bit boring compared to TDCC where I've always had a bit of a dance to.

The XX will be awesome, TDCC are really only up there because Bestival really has no structure for their line-up. The Maccabees were suppose to sub last year, they were about the same size at TDCC and Rob had said it's so they can get a bigger crowd (more publicity) whilst people were waiting for Pendulum. You wouldn't have thought Public Enemy would have played so low either but they got a huge crowd, which I think made people stick around afterwards.

I think he's really great at putting the line-ups together, I'm not bothered anyway, they'll be tons more on.
