Am I too old for Bestival?

Dave, you could download a white noise cd, it wouldn't have the beat behind it, but the constant humming sound can help people sleep, especially if you're a light sleeper as it will drown out other noises.

Bex, you won't feel too old. Although Bestival is predominantly aimed at 20-30 year olds, there is a good mix of ages.

Good job I didn't sell my ticket last night then! Lol

I sleep brilliantly at festivals, that constant low boom is quite soporific, and I'm so blinking knackered from dancing and walking all day I have no trouble - and if I do then i just get up and go and find something different to do!

Can't wait!!

Nah 43 isn't old at all, I met a lovely group of people, the youngest was around 27 and the oldest was a lovely, amazing lady who is around 60! If I lived to be like her when I'm that age I'll be proud, she could honestly party harder than some people my age and I'm 19!

I saw quite a lot of the older generation there last year, as long as you're relaxed and go with the flow you'll blend in fine. There literally is something for everyone too so if the younger music isn't to your taste there's ALWAYS something else that you will like.

If you feel fit enough then you're never too old. I can't imagine a time when I won't be going to fests and even though at 29 last year i felt alot older than most people at Leeds I still had a great time, I feel you just enjoy it in a diffferent way.

you are never too old for a festival - its a myth. I went to BESTIVAL 2011 and the crowd was very diverse...i would say average ages were between 25 & 60. It is ridiculous to think you cant go to a festival or gigs when you get past a certain age & i regularly still go to ibiza at age 33 - i go to Pacha / Ibiza Rocks & all major clubs and often see 30 / 40 / 50 + people in there...i think it is so expensive that people often cant afford to go until they are older - you would be very suprised once you get the courage up to actually get out there & Bestival is certainly no exception to the rule. My partner is 26 & our friends vary in age from 27 up to 40 and we are all going again this year. Think of it like this - if people like Norman Cook, Rob Da Bank, Grandmaster Flash, Robert Smith are playing at these places at their respective ages, then why cant you be a spectator at your age?....think about it....exactly! :) see you in the big top lol - you only get one time on this planet so make the most of it!

Surely if you're into the music that you find at a particular festival then it's for you. If you're into heavy metal you might not find a folk festival to your liking and vice versa. It's nothing to do with age - it's musical taste.
