They're 4th on Bestival website's list of bands (really in order of how big/where they'll play).

See I thought that and makes sense, but they are surely bigger than TDCC? (Not that I don't love them both equally, actually their about the same, both selling out Brixton but surely FF should be bumped for being around longer? )

Before New Order would satisfy me. I think of them as a mainstage band rather than a Big Top band. I'd be delighted if anybody replaced Two Door Cinema Club. There's no such thing as good or bad music; just music you like and don't like, and I fucking despise Two Door Cinema Club.

Bestival doesn't do bands in ascending orders, they're more programmed as to where RDB thinks they're suited to (hence Public Enemy playing in the afternoon last year). Third down would prob suit them as I saw them in that slot at Glast last year and it was perfect for them with the sun on the way down.

Plus, surely they can't play the Big Top as all three headliners for that have already been announced (2ManyDJs, Justice and Orbital)...

Yeah, if someone like Dolly Parton headlines then I have nice little-go-to thing. Sigur Ros, Friendly Fires and then Orbital, sweet..

Doesn't the Sunday big top go on longer than that? I swear Fatboy Slim finished at 4ish. If he didn't, how the hell did I get back to my tent at 5ish.

I'm pretty sure fay boy slim finished at 4 last year , we got a taxi back straight after erol and he was still going strong.

Norm had only just started when you left, then: Erol Alkan played the Rizlab from 9pm-1am, and Fatboy Slim was in the Big Top from 12:45am-2:15am.

Well this is all guesswork obviously, but I think the 2 pairs of headliners/subs on the Sunday night will go:

Sigur Rós - main stage, 19:00-20:30

?????? - main stage, 21:00-22:30

Friendly Fires - big top, 23:15-00:15

Orbital - big top, 00:45-02:15
