How fast will tickets sell?

Last year I don't even think the tickets fully sold out, but this year there's no Glastonbury so do you all think tickets will sell out within a few hours/days/weeks/months?

Agree with Yellow Fellow. However the way they do it in releasing line up and putting tickets out at the same time will add to the time.

Since 2007 (ish) it has sold out instantly. But, last year it didn't. It will depend on the lineup this year (they'll need stronger headliners *coughMCRcough* and a better undercard). But if I was to hazard a guess I think it will sell out a lot quicker this year. for reasons of 2.

1. Headliners are huge. Foo Fighters and Kasabian, with possibly Green Day or The Cure (for instance) are all incredibly strong headliners. It will sell.

2. Deposit scheme. It allows people to buy now and pay later, which will be a huge help for a lot of people. Can see more people buying this year, and then dropping out later on. which does mean that although they may sell out this year, and you may not get a ticker right away, but there will more than likely be more resales.

i think it will sell out within 2 hours max, but we shall see soon enough hoping to get some through vodafone, buy a £10 phone and hope for the best.

It doesn't matter to me when they sell out. I'll be doing what I do every year, buy a ticket on ebay two days before the festival. 2011, 137 pounds, 2010, 125 pounds, 2009, 140 pounds. I enjoy the festival but not for 200+ quid

No doubt the ticket sites will crash and end up being a ball ache to get a ticket. 2008 was utter hell

Remeber getting my Milton Keynes foo fighters tickets, was a nightmare and it was only the pre sale!
