SOAD
Yeah Refused would def fit in more on Foos day.. doubt they will do an indie day... but like I said over in the Reading thread that I think if Refused play at Reading they will be put as special guests on the lineup
kipper64
Personally you're trusting Efests as the only place who isn't saying it's their only Uk show - not to go against what they say but they were the ones pushing the "struggling to find a third headliner" rumour which turned out to be false

Soni were 100% struggling to find a 3rd headliner. Kiss have only been found and signed up since I first made that comment. It's presumably taken a massive monetry offer to get them to agree (which might well have also involved them changing their mind from a previous 'no' to doing Soni, but that I don't know). That 3rd headliner stuff is beyond all doubt in our minds, because we have unquestionable sources for that info. Choose to not believe it if you want. Regarding Refused, we published "only UK show" because that's what the Soni press release said, and we took that as fact because we had no reason to dis-believe it. We've amended what we have published now, following Soni's own amendments about Refused and other acts they had claimed as exclusive. she bangs the drums
Has it been changed anywhere else besides Efests news piece though?
eFestivals
I'm as 100% certain as I am of anything that Kiss were a last minute deal. I know for a fact that Soni's press office were telling certain people that they didn't have a third not long before the end of January. SOAD
Fair enough about Refused. I'm just excited to see them twice in one summer. Or in fact twice at all Will have to put them back into my prediction.
kipper64
Ah fair dooz - guess we'll see then! I don't think you can just say by that they'll definitely be somewhere else, it might just be they plan on doing a UK show or something after Sonisphere Really? You think they managed to rope Kiss in as an EU exclusive last minute? I don't think that's the case and it's goes against what I've heard. Kiss were the longest rumoured headliner - they themselves back in October on the one show said they be playing somewhere in the UK next summer. It might have been a case for a while Kiss were in line to play - then planned on not playing, then they managed to convince them to re-think that, but I don't think it was certainly the case they had no 3rd headliner at all and booked Kiss as a last minute thing. jump
Also how low is Brian May going to drag the Queen legacy down? The only thing I can think of worse than him playing with Dappy is when Status Quo recorded with Scooter?
