KISS day!

Gene Simmons, while at the 2011 American Music Awards, confirmed (see video) that KISS will embark in a world tour soon after the release of "Monster" (set for late Spring next year); a Tour that "promises to take technology to the extreme".

The only band on the line up I'm dying to see, would love to go but thers no chance of them turning the line up into value for money IMO.

I think Kiss will pull out all the stops, with it being their only Euro date this year, but ultimately, I can't see them amking up for how crap their songs are.

There will be more than 4 bands.

The 2 previous years have had 5 bands, so we can expect another 2, maybe more, plus Bohemia, Jager and Red Bull lineups.

I thought that was a great little quote. KISS was the first band I ever got properly "into", their later stuff is as naff as fuck, and the stage show may seem very camp, but they have some cracking tunes, and will put on a great show. I doubt I'll be going, but would have liked to have seen kiss.

I think it's a ploy designed to sell weekend tickets to kiss fans personally. (5 bands = £90 vs whole weekend with camping for £190) Twisted logic makes the weekend ticket seem good value.

...but they have some stonking tunes! Be honest, do you know many KISS tunes? If you do then fairplay I know they're not every persons cup of tea.

Tis true, they influenced soooooooo many other bands it's unreal.

Indeed. By that logic AC/DC day tickets should have cost the same as the weekend tickets.

And the day lostprophets or MCR headlined download should have been 75% off.

I just found that it was justified last years as 'well it's the big 4' so wondering what the justification is this year.
