Difficult to say for sure it kind of depends on few contributing factors, on the line up for R/L for example if it's as bad as last years more people might go to Download also if Sonisphere doesn't improve people might decide on Download I know this doesn't help you much are you likely to go to R/L regardless of the line up?

I'll put this here, it applies and its for anyone who hasn't seen it on the official boards.

There will be some people who will take the stance of 'well of course he's gunna say that' but anyway John who is Festival Director for Live Nation has said on the official boards he is certain this year will sell out. He also has said the arena can hold 120k but it's unlikely they'll be allowed to have that many onsite unlike in 2010 when they could.

The problems are, the law has changed with how much space you have to provide per person when it comes to camping space, so thats taken the camping tickets capicity down, also they've lost a camping field as one of the farmers has decided to plough the field, I understand the reason behind was the field was used in 2010 but not in 2011 as they didn't sell as many tickets but this year they wanted to use it again but can't.

He's said theres no other fields that are close enough to use, so they're stuck with a lower capacity than they would have hoped.

Theres also concern on how many people would be leaving at once if they were to sell a higher number of non camping tickets.

They did a survey on the forums the past couple of days led by John, regarding gazebos, he wanted to ban them from campsite saying it would allow for more camping space, but after feedback he has rejected this and said they won't be banning them this year, to even think about this though, shows they're clearly trying to make more camping space, Id say its closer to selling out than not, if you get me? What im saying is, I think its well past half way sold out already. And if Reading has a sell out this year [people taking up installments plans] It could see a sudden rush of DL tickets being sold.

Anyone who has the means to get their download ticket and wants to go, Id buy sooner rather than later, from the sound of things
