Matt_093
Yes mate, it's on tonight. I've listened to the whole live setlist on Spotify, so will be good to see a visual performance. EDIT: And it's also available on Sky Player, as that's where i watch it Edited March 3, 2012 by Matt_093

Vieuphoria
I'm off my tits with excitement here. It's just the Cure at their most raw... Just the songs and the band. Nothing more is needed. Incredible gig. I'm getting the impression though that this year will have a slightly bigger stage show... Not talking a massively self indulgent fuck fest like a U2 gig... but now they're touring Europe fully i'd assume some more visual stuff will be placed in the background and such. Not that it's needed, but imagine it would be the case. So pumped.

pehaw
Can't stand Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me, far too much filler (Just Like Heaven aside - some girl gave me a copy of the 7" on white vinyl for giving her a lift home once, can't believe that was 25 years ago, jesus - great great song). Seventeen Seconds, Three Imaginary Boys, Pornography and of course Disintegration are essential. Staring At The Sea if you haven't got time for any proper albums. Don't touch Mixed Up with a bargepole it's fucking dreadful. The Cure In Orange is essential viewing also if you can track it down. I've only got it on a recorded VHS but it is so beautiful and atmospheric. Only Heima rivals it imho. Oh I wish I was 17 again.

Vieuphoria
Aren't they rereleasing The Cure in Orange? I've heard there are talks happening?
Chr1s
For me The Cure don't need a massive production, just a beautiful late summer night, a shit load of dry ice with Robert Smith stood in it, just playing their best tunes
Vieuphoria
oh no they don't need it at all. I just assumed there might be a screen or two behind them. I wasn't talking a full on Scissor Sisters type stage set up ha
Vieuphoria
They are going to cut this off before last few tracks! Noooooooo!

Vieuphoria
He forgot the words to 'Let's Go To Bed'... Why Can't i Be You? i'm very much enjoying though. WHAT? They cut it off before Boy's Don't Cry, Jumping On Someone Elses Train, 10:15 Saturday Night and Killing an Arab. Gutted.
harderfaster
could definitely do with that missing guitar though.
thesecretingredientiscrime
Though they won't play this, if they did, i'd be so happy, i'd consider adopting Kerry Katona from the stray dogs home. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jcw7XIDGqFI
