That's only their Album launch show.. they've got a full UK tour in April/May including Cardiff Arena, Tickets £25+, they've also just signed to a major record label, Sony, so I think they're still doing alright. People keep saying they've gone done hill, but like it or not they're still very popular, their last album "the Betrayed" reached Number 3 in the charts (which is higher than Enter Shiakri, YMAS and Kaiser Cheifs latest albums).

I seriously doubt they'd sub NME... it was absolutely packed when they headlined it a few years ago, and that was against Radiohead too. Last album got to number three and sold well enough to be certified gold (which for comparison is the same as last year's headliners My Chemical Romance's most recent album, although that only got to number fourteen). They're not as big as they once were, but still pretty big and I'm not too sure why people think they aren't.

Really one of the most underrated bands in British rock IMO, along with Funeral For A Friend and InMe. (Off-topic, but how awesome would a 'Prophets/Funeral/InMe tour be?)

could anyone see Crystal Castles taking the step up to Mainstage... especially on The Cure day? I know they play all the bloody time but this is a repeat booking i think would be interesting. I think they'd pull of a mainstage set well... especially with a guest appearance from Robert Smith....

I disagree but we are here for opinions. You killed it yourself a bit with the against Radiohead m8, they are very much if not more a case like The Cure this year, it wasn't understood by so many why they should be booked for it as they didn't seem to fit the demographic at all, their crowd wasn't big at all. I'd like to see what crowd they got up against Metallica, RATM ot The Killers.
