Well yeah, butNew Order are still very relevant to the R/L music scene. A lot of 'NME' type bands play R/L and New Order are very popular with NME. If anything I think theyre almost more suited to it now, the music is less heavy since Download and Soni have gotten into that market, and indie has become a huge part of the lineup and new order are of the kind of indie gods, theyre hugely influencial in most of todays indie scene

The thing is with The Cure, we already have the one band that is a controvertial booking anyway and they also won the Poll put on here, edging even Green Day. Madness are a totally different thing, they are liked by a wider audience I think and are the only band like that I think nowadays would fit as well at R&L. at leeds, their crowd wasn't huge, just liked by who was there
