kipper64
Nah, definitely an announcement next week: http://www.nme.com/news/queen/62377?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter Stuart Galbraith confirms it in that interview! Makes remakrs about making it as broad a rock festival as possible, so who knows what we'll get! Although Hundred Reasons and Pure Love (Frank ex-Gallows frontman's new band) both have big announcements early next week. I reckon it'll be another big announcement with both big and small bands, with some of the Soni France bands featuring too like Meshuggah, possibly combichrist - though they might wait for their tour to sell a bit before announcing them, Soulfly etc... kipper64
A tour would be great, though I'd take either...or both You seen the videos of them? They look really good, albeit very different to Gallows, who knew Frank could sing!
she bangs the drums
Announcement tonight on Daniel P Carter's show.
kipper64
It'll include Hundred Reasons, Skindred, and Lostprophets I believe
gary1979666
I'd be happy with that - where's that info from? G
kipper64
Hundred Reasons have an announcement tonight - as per their twitter Benji from Skindred said they have news coming tonight too Lostprophets are apparently playing Sonisphere France on the Sunday 8th of July- with a tour date in Italy already on the Friday I believe, meaning Saturday, probably 2nd from top Saturn stage under Tim Minchin. kipper64
After having noticed the army of Darkness/Evil Dead reference in the post by Sonisphere today about the announcement tonight ("Get me my Boomstick"), I never put 2 and 2 together to figure it could be a clue to Ash playing (the lead character in the movies). Seems plausible too.

kipper64
Yeah I think they will, I reckons Feeder will be back too taking a low mainstage Saturday slot.
Rancidpunk_76
Frickin' ASH?? Sincerely hope not, there's enough pop music on the bill as it is... and don't get me started on the fact Tim Wheeler can't sing for s**t

Chavmeisterdeluxe
I think Hundred Reasons announcement is that they're touring Ideas Above Our Station in full for the 10th anniversary
gary1979666
Would be great if we got that at Soni - loved that album. Can't believe it's 10 years now....feeling old!
luckysalt
Some good bookings on this announcement. Ash are always decent live, and Hundred Reasons performing IAOS is class.
Steve-o
I'm grabbing my Sunday tickets next payday. If Hundred Reasons are playing the Sunday and doing 'Ideas Above Our Station' in full... Fuck me, that's fantastic. Only other thing that'll top it off is At The Drive-In playing but I suspect they'll be at Reading.

gazza_20
Possible, they're definitely doing it at Soni, Gazza, I dunno, I know Hundred Reasons will be in Bohemia, probably late night again like in 2009, would be a good band to have late night sunday too just like in 2009 - end the weekend on some fun rock band. I also reckon The Hives are likely to play, the seem to be doing a lot of festivals and shows with Refused, and they said a few days ago on FB/Twitter they had news coming soon, they posted on both this morning too saying " Are you Ready?" which suggests an announcement is imminent. kipper64
Yeah, Friday has nothing for me either, Wolfmother might be alright, they do some decent covers in their sets I think (Led Zep, The Who etc...). But the rest I couldn't care less about, that being said, Skid Row definitely aren't the sub, was confirmed it was an old poster/placeholder by soni on bookface, and I think they have a gig on the Friday anyways elsewere, could be Motley still though. I'm hoping/expecting an awesome Bohemia line up for the Friday though, or Red Bull, the smaller tents usually have a lot I like if all else fails. AR93
Yeah Kipper64 is right, Skid Row have tour dates through the Friday and Saturday of Sonisphere Also, Tommy Lee (Motley Crue) posted this a few hours ago "Holy Shit! do we have a surprise for you guys!" kipper64
I guess Soni could be announcing again in about 2 weeks
gazza_20
Motley Crue is the logic guess but you'd think they would wanna get the special guest out soon as possible, I guess 15 days isn't that long to go, might be contractual reasons etc. I wish that whole two day pass thing was true cuz I'd prob go for that. I see this year at Soni being the one year I'd go and try the weekend as it's kinda like last year at DOwnload was shit for the normal crowd but good for me as I like the lighter heavy I guess and the more gothic side too, so Soni is best for me like that. Within Temptation after Lacuna Coil would've been win/ Shame Nightwish are at Download, hopefully they tour.
