Tim Minchin and Queen

Hey,I was just wondering, will Tim Minchin clash with Queen?

Sonisphere dont do clashes unless Minchin is playing on the 3rd stage but I reckon he'll be a similar position to Bill Bailey last year

sure he's been confirmed to be headlining the saturn stage. so no they won't clash

Yeah he's on the Saturn stage, at Sonisphere the two outdoor mainstages, Apollo and Saturn don't clash, they alternate, so when the band on Saturn finishes, the next band on Apollo starts 5-10 minutes after, so basically Tim will close the Saturn stage on Saturday night and once he's done, Queen will soon start on the Apollo stage.

I'm really tempted to get a day ticket for sonisphere for the above two and also evanescence and the darkness as I have never seen any of them before. What's the festival like with regards to parking, queues, atmosphere? Thanks

Parking is a major trek from the arena, but there's plenty of it.

Queues aren't too bad, there's ones at every entrance, but they move quite quickly.

Atmosphere I really like, although it does vary between years and bands.
