VCK
Would love to see them again as I missed them on their recent Academy tour and I really enjoyed them in 2007, but there's no way Corgan's ego would let them play any lower than headline. dirtymookie
I saw them in Manchester last year. Biggest disappointment I've had for years. Corgans an arrogant tosser.
kev1664
I saw them in Newcastle on their recent tour and I too was disappointed. Self indulgent, set list left a lot to be desired didn't keep the crowns into the gig, played barely any hits in 3 hours, undoubted talent but felt it such a waste of £45. dirtymookie
Exactly, such a shame he lets his ego take control of everything. Apparently he won't play most of their more popular songs because they were co-written with James. Shame because they could have one of the best sets around if he dropped the arrogance a bit. Can't see that ever happening though.

dirtymookie
Love that song, was one of the few highlights. Saw them headline Reading in 95 and they were amazing. I'm not surprised the others fucked off though.

Frankly Mr Shankly
If they were going to sub anyone, I'm fairly sure it would be the Cure. Having said that, in my eyes they'd fit in better headlining a smaller festival as oppose to playing a lower slot at R/L.

SoLoCo
I am a huge SP fan, but Corgan really is up there with Axl Rose and Morrissey. Saw them in 2008 and they were horrible, much better this time around in Birmingham last year, did't play alot of hits but had alot of classics from Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie in there. I don't think they would play Reading without it being a headline slot though, which brings me to my point... At their Birmingham gig they hinted that they would be around again next summer or some apperences, but I believe this may have had something to do with Pheonix, and now with that looking like its not happening, I can't see them coming back.
