where to sleep if goin for a day

Hi we have tickets for the saturday at weston park. I'm driving down but love a drink with my friends at V. Does anyone know is it ok 2sleep in the car in car park! Don't wanna lose my licence and I don't wanna not have a drink.

No you cant sleep in your car you wud need to book a hotel nearby and get taxi in if you want to drink....there is nowhere to leave your car over night nearby.

Take a sleeping bag and sleep in the car. I did last year and so did loads of others. I couldn't be arsed moving all my shit to the campsite!

I have heard of people who have slept in there car before. As long as your keys are not in ignition or ideally outside the car (obviously well hidden) then you cannot be arrested. But never seen many police in the car parks???!!! Or dio what i did- get leathered and then ask my girlfriend to drive. Then fall asleep when supposed to be giving directions

one year I couldn't be bothered to put up my tent so decided I'd sleep in the car.

After several uncomfortable hours I'd had enough of the car, and it was a beautiful and warm night I ended up putting my sleeping bag on the ground between my car and the next one and sleeping there - and had a great sleep.

I've slept in the car before when I got gifted day tickets with no camping for the Sat & Sun, got no bother from anyone. I actually took a tent meaning to put it up out back of the car but was too drunk and lost one of the poles in the dark

If you park near the entrance you could always use the Police stop and search tent to kip in (providing you are not carrying obviously) as it's really big and mostly empty late at night (there were a few others kipping down in there last time I did this). Bit of a trek from the arena though.
