I wouldn't call the crowd for The Cure particularly good at Leeds tbh, walked in to watch the first three songs and strolled straight up to the second barrier, and then left Social D to catch the end and was able to walk round the front of the barrier and get central with ease. Seemed to be a lot of people just milling about and not really watching them.

Prodigy have to be there because they play at festivals a lot even when they dont have a new album out. They were at Download this year and V have had them loads in the last decade and the last time the were at Reading was like 2003 and with their new album coming out next year (How to steal a Jet Fighter) they are an English band and so they will probably tour England around summer and so they should be at Reading. I dont like it the way some people are putting The Prodigy as subs, they are quite capable of headlining as they did in 1996!

i would be extremely happy with any of the following headlining: green day, linkin park, the prodigy, the killers, blur or manics. But hopefully i will get two and probably get an interesting unexpected one like the Cure.

Melvin said he has got two headliners secured and hasnt approached the next one but is pretty sure they want to do it. This next band do you think have headlined before?

Not my dream scenario but what I feel is realistic...

Top 3 Main Stage Acts each day:

The Killers

Mumford & Sons

Frank Turner

Biffy Clyro

Bloc Party

Weezer

Metallica

Prodigy

Soundgarden

NME Headliners

Jack White

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds

Seems to be one dance/electronic headliner these days so I'll say Skrillex if he's still popular, otherwise Manics would be great

Some acts who will be repeated from this year (as plenty always are): You Me At Six, Coheed And Cambria, Mystery Jets, The Vaccines, Pulled Apart By Horses, All Time Low, Bullet For My Valentine, The Courteeners, The Hives, Future Of The Left, Twin Atlantic, Dry The River, Django Django, Of Monsters And Men, The Subways, Bastille, Alt-J, Lucy Rose, Fidlar, Don Broco, Jake Bugg, Lower Than Atlantis, Young Guns, Family Of The Year and no doubt many, many more...
