Would Underworld headline the NME? I don't really know anything about them apart from Born Slippy.

Underworld totally amazing live act, the only act to ever get me to a dance event(was an experience anyway).

Would welcome them with open arms..

They're big enough in their own circles, but I don't think that would include R&L unfortunately. Given that the two Sunday night dancey NME headliners have been 2manydjs and Justice I imagine it will be a dance act with a 'proper' album to promote and who is/are likely to be doing other festivals. Deadmau5 might be a good shout up against a big main stage headliner to keep his crowd in check.

Given their roots I'd still say it's more 'R&L' than some of the acts we've had. I wouldn't rule them out completely, plus if it's their first show back in the UK, it's likely to shift some day tickets.

I can see them doing an arena tour in the spring, subbing Glasto & then headlining Bestival though. No real reason, just a hunch.

i found a metallica tour poster/design for future tshirts that was leaked on the wedsite (it was taken down straight away), looks legit to me, i think we have our one of our headliners sorted then... opinions?

I've just come across it on the internet, now obviously the dates been added by a computer, but it could be like added momentarily as they plan to put it on future t-shirts. Metallica is basically confirmed already now, killers and prodigy to confirm soon as well

people dont want old acts like that though, think about it the demand for the beach boys is never going to be as great as bands like all time low, same with headliners like springsteen, who'd want him when mcr could play?
