I've just come across it on the internet, now obviously the dates been added by a computer, but it could be like added momentarily as they plan to put it on future t-shirts. Metallica is basically confirmed already now, killers and prodigy to confirm soon as well

If taking a picture of a t-shirt with 1985 tour dates and crudely changing the year and adding R&L on photoshop/paint means they're 100% definite then sure why not.

I like Reading/Leeds is included on the U.S Metallica Tour to...it makes me think there isn't really an Atlantic ocean at all!

Slim to none based on hardly any evidence. Until something pops up that directly links them I wouldn't get your hopes up.

i found a metallica tour poster/design for future tshirts that was leaked on the wedsite (it was taken down straight away), looks legit to me, i think we have our one of our headliners sorted then... opinions?

I don't think Metallica should come to the UK for at least 3 years.

Fact of the matter is that when Metallica headline a festival,it more or less sells out.

Ok, Reading sells out anyway but Download and Sonisphere definately sell more tickets if Metallica play.(in fact,no better example than Sonisphere 2010 compared to sonisphere 2011).

A new Metallica album would probably be a suitable gimmick. It certainly wouldn't be anything else.

are the killers next year the most likely headliner? and maybe prodigy. i dont think blur will be because their because Hyde Park was supposedly their last gig or at least for a while, apparently Biffy arent bigger enough to headline yet. What about Mumford and Sons? there new album is the fastest selling so far this year. Who else are likely?

I think that The Killers are a good shout but that's based on feeling rather than any evidence. The headliners will likely be booked by now so how fast Mumford's album has sold his week won't have any bearing on who they booked.

Yeah I'd definitely say The Killers are the most likely right now. Really not sure on the others. Hopefully one of Pearl Jam or Blur. Biffy as a smaller headliner would be good for me as well.

The Killers, Pearl Jam and The Prodigy would be great !!! (in my mind three ideal headliners for next year)

If The Killers do get announced I really hope there's a good alternative, already seen them twice and tbh I wasn't impressed either time. Having said that, I do think they'll help sell tickets so not a bad choice, just not for me.

The Killers could be at Glastonbury, or maybe Isle of Wight as they haven't played there before. The good thing about next year is there doesn't seem to be any obvious headliners to predict like Foos this year, Muse last year, Blink 182 in 2010 etc.

I guess it could be someone no one has mentioned yet. I'd like to see another older/alt type headline like The Cure next year, not sure who though.
