MAD HARRY 27
And PS. Why have people gone from discussing Nickleback to discussing Linkin Park? Hahhaaaa such a genuinely embarrassing bands!!!

Andre91
Who does everybody think is (if there is one) the single most likely headliner for next year? I'm gunna say Bloc Party.
Smit93
I think I may even have had enough after 40 times, haha. And yes, their setlists are terrible. So glad I've seen OOS in full though, that was a treat. I've not managed to catch Butterflies and Hurricanes live though, even though they played it quite often on the last tour, and that's my favourite song. I'm probably more excited to be seeing Radiohead in October than I would be for seeing Muse, as they actually vary their performances/setlists. Andre91
I'd definitely say Biffy Clyro. I think they're nailed on.
Gucci Piggy
I reckon they are too, amazing band. I can't help thinking that they wouldn't have Biffy and Bloc Party the same year though! Unless they had a MEGA 3rd headliner
RichieParf
Yeah I thought that, but I can totally see it happening. I was thinking Blur for the 3rd headliner, but not anymore. Maybe Metallica if they do anything next year?
Gucci Piggy
I'd be surprised if it was Tallica. They've been horribly overbooked at fests the last few years.

Gucci Piggy
Metallica would be good but they've been over here loads over the last few years. I thought Blur too but obvs not anymore. I can see Arctic Monkeys maybe, they could have a new album out by then. Pearl Jam would be awesome but I don't think they're the type of band that would get booked anymore. That's the same reason I can't see RATM next year, although I'd love it. I just cant think of that many 'big' bands really. KISS maybe ? Hahaha. Mouseboy11
I think Avenged will be somewhere on the bill next year, perhaps 2nd subbing Linkin Park?
Vieuphoria
Avenged do not warrant such a high slot at R/L's. Better off at Download.

TheBoz
They were fourth up in 2008., and there popularity has increased dramatically since then,
Andre91
Well Arctic Monkeys originally said they'd go away until late 2013 and there were plans for a new Shadow Puppets album, but now it seems like Arctic Monkeys are going straight into doing the next album. I can't see them headlining just 4 years after what was seen by most as a really poor performance though. Despite them being shit hot live this past year. Also, I posted a perfect line up for 2013 the other day with Pearl Jam and RATM headlining.
Gucci Piggy
Yeah I saw that they seem to have a pattern of putting an album out every 2 years, Favourite Worst Nightmare '07, Humbug '09 and Suck It And See '11, so hopefully they will in 2013 yeah I saw them in October and they were bloody amazing, totally different from when i saw them on the Humbug tour. Haha yeah man I saw that lineup, that'd be crazy
Andre91
Well I definitely hope it's out sooner rather than later. Matt Helders said this week they want to do an album in the style of R U Mine and Evil Twin, so if they headlined I think it would go down better than a Humbug performance. (I love Humbug, for the record) Yeah I saw them at the Don Valley shows, it was amazing.
gazza_20
But if you look at the direction the festival has taken since '08, there is pretty much no chance i'd say

Dan R
With sonisphere now a no go, and probably not going ahead next year, anyone reckon some more heavy bands could get booked and make a more balanced line-up. The lack of heavy bands only started after soni began, and 08 is often regarded as one of the strongest line-ups, maybe the organisers would want to bring back that element.
