Even though they have already been everywhere else I can definitely see Metallica being back next year. Bands often play R&L last and they are a core R&L band that will sell tickets. I just think that the headliners you have for R&L look particularly weak compared to the others you have listed (this is of course taking into account the demographics each festival targets). Saying that it could just be that the R&L headliners aren't to my personal taste as much as some of the other festivals you have listed.

Download-Rammstein ¬ Foo Fighters ¬ Slipknot (if Sonisphere doesn't run Iron Maiden to replace Foo Fighters or Slipknot)

R&L -The Prodigy ¬ Bloc Party ¬ Green Day

Glasto - Radiohead ¬ Rolling Stones ¬ Lady Gaga

Sonis - Iron Maiden ¬ Linkin Park (if it runs or not (one or two or three day event))

I don't know enough about the other festivals to predict headliners!!! I need to get a better knowledge in others! More or less some mainstream bands though!

IOW - Arcade Fire, Muse, The Prodigy

R&L - Biffy Clyro, The Killers, Blur

Glasto - Radiohead, The Stone Roses, The Rolling Stones

Download - Avenged Sevenfold, Iron Maiden, Van Halen

V - Lady Gaga, Muse

TITP - Biffy Clyro, The Killers, Arcade Fire

If KOL are back on the scene I could see them headlining V instead of Gaga, and her playing somewhere else. Or I could see KOL headlining it TITP instead of The Killers or Arcade Fire (Probably Arcade Fire).

If RHCP are doing festivals I could see them at Isle Of Wight. Maybe TITP or Soni if it runs. Or possibly R&L, but I don't see it.

I don't think R&L and TITP will share 2 headliners like I've predicted, but those bands just seem the most likely headliners for each festival to me.
