Just a question, have Coldplay ever played Reading and Leeds? Haven't bothered to check. I don't really like them much myself, but I can see Melvin asking for them after they finish their hiatus/break. They might have new music to promote next year, and personally... People are going to want to see what mainstream act follows eminem. Coldplay could fit that bill.

Reaally cant see Coldplay ever playing R+L...they're a band suited far more to Glasto/V etc..

They've played before but it was years ago when they were much, much smaller. Coldplay aren't big fans of festivals besides Glasto and they prefer to do their own shows so they can sell their tixs on Viagogo as they are c**ts but I can see them possible playing one day (not that I'm saying it's likely) simply because they are one of the few UK staduim acts to have not headline and R&L is after Glasto (arguebly IOW too but is was canned for decades) the major UK fest.
